Liar, liar, pants on fire..

So I have trust issues to begin with.. and come find out I am told a lot of things this past week.  And all it leads to is claims of a fucking liar.  Excuse my french, but seriously I'm getting a little PO-ed, to say the least.  But anyways I made carb-filled pasta tonight - for the cure.  I just haven't updated this in a while and wanted to since it's my passion and all.. but don't feel like venting tonight.

Chinese Chicken.

I feel as if this is a lyric in some kind of Eminem song or something - maybe I'm trippin' - who knows.  Anyways, tonight I managed to set off our fire alarm twice.  Damn, that thing is too touchy for me.  And made some chicken, sautted some bell peppers in soy sauce, and made some brown rice. 

I'd like to introduce you to tonight's dinner...

I called it:  Ass-Kickin' Chinese Chicken, original right? 

And topped it off with sesame seeds.

And we're having a party on Friday, and I love how some people I know in the Bahamas tweeted me and fb chatted me asking if they can come when they live forever away in paradise.  Too funny.

Earl Grey.

Is my favorite tea.  It is tea time here in the EL and I thought it was perfectly appropriate on this bitter cold morning, well afternoon rather.  So I am sitting at my kitchen table sipping on some Earl Grey. 

I forgot to update this but Monday's lunch was a 

Spinach-Mozzarella-Grape Salad

... And dinner yesterday consisted of the  

Dominique-Meaghen-Special-Pasta

which consisted of tomatoes, basil, tomato sauce, spices, hot sauce, and some other random things.

You know what's funny is that boys think you are so dumb.  Well note to all the men out there: WE'RE NOT AS DUMB AS YOU THINK WE ARE.  Seriously, my ex went through this routine before.  My ex made a bet with his best friend that I would sleep with him on the first date.  He thought that I would go through with it, to his surprise.. I did not.  So more recently,  I got stood up and then his best friend started texting me, asking the same questions and set up as he previously did.  And to his surprise, I responded.  I know what he's thinking: that since I blew him off a few times that he would try and get back at me and do the same, and then I would do the same to his best friend.  Sorry honey, you can suck on that one because I am playing the game fair and square.  

Any who, lunch today was Turkey Chili with Parmesan Cheese

on top to warm me up since I am still shivering from the walk home from class today.  

And have had two cups of Earl Grey, now.  It's my obsession.

Imma sip moscato...

It was a night filled with guidos, guidettes, and Italians nonetheless.  And we are just now realizing this.  In honor of Jersey Shore premiering yesterday, we managed to down two bottles of Moscato and a batch of Tomato Basil Bruschetta. 

Delicious.

And Wacka Flocka Flame was the initiator of sippin' on Moscato, while he tells his girls to do it with no hands.

No, no tequila here (not when I'm by myself at least).  Very boring productive day.  Planned some of Siblings Weekend, not that any of you really care and then read some of Who's Got Your Back by Keith Ferrazzi - which is such a great book.  It really takes an opposite look at the business world and your own success and how you can even further your successes in the future, without constantly worrying about $$.

And now my apartment smells like the lime, honey, and soy sauce mixture.  But nonetheless it smells good.  Word of advice: do not use a George Foreman to grill your chicken because it will result in its death.  Well the glaze turned the George very sticky (wow that sounded wrong, my bad) and I tried Brillo but it just wont come off, so...

Woke up this morning feeling like Meg Murray.  Took a sip of my Earl Grey and now I'm sitting pretty.  Clearly I have sick rapper skills.  At least, I think so.  But I really did wake up this morning and drink Earl Grey and sit here on my couch with these bad boys in my ears.  They just don't want to leave my ears - well I don't want them to.  

I have downloaded three new mixtapes this morning and am jamming to Chris Brown's In My Zone 2.  And downloading Kanye's new album which is the album of 2010.  Oh wait, I'm a let you finish - but that was the best album of all time.  Hold up, that's old and busted now and 2011 is the new hottest, duh.

La, Le... what?

The all-healthy-eating diet officially starts tomorrow so I decided to pop open an all-natural, no sweet added, carbonated water courtesy of La Croix.  I think that's how you spell it.  If not, well I'm no French major, so pardon me.  Lime flavored :) 

And it was an awkward occurrence just now.  I don't even know.  A half-hour, really? Lame. At least it's not as bad as the pound it I got after hooking up sex.

And I bought Power Beats by Dr. Dre last night at the apple store and my ears are having an orgasm but they really are in love.

PJM convinced me to stay home today and leave at 8AM tomorrow morning instead, so I could stay home and make him dinner.  This was my first time making pork, but it was simple.  It just consists of a few ingredients, though I could've went a little easier on the ginger root.  That was an interesting thing to purchase at Hiller's Market earlier.  It looked like a root in the shape of a swimming turtle. 

The menu this evening consisted of Pork Medallions with a Pineapple Glaze

It was a hit.  The brothers and dad scarfed down the meal within five minutes.  And then gave me a pat on the back. 

Applied for a few scholarships today and conferences, so I was a bit productive.  Hitting 96 West early in the AM to get back up to the grind in Lansing.

Garbage.

Just made Homemade Garbage Can Pizza with whole wheat crust, all-natural homemade pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, onion, mushroom, green pepper, crumbled sausage, & ham.

Man have I missed cooking & journal blogging - obviously one of my New Year's Resolutions.

And I decided that I am going for my Master's in Marketing in 2012... a toast to academics.

Well, it's in the oven....
