I think its been a good three weeks since I've blogged a lot has happened:
People have confessed their love for me their wanting of numerous booty calls. I wish that was a joke... but I guess in an odd way its flattering. And no, I haven't taken any of them up on it.
Someone is still talking lying about me. It's getting old.
On a happy note, went to St. Louis for a week.
Got nominated for something that makes me really extremely happy!
Personal note: (may be TMI) but my rear-end got bigger! Although, so did everything else by a smidge.. I got to get that gym membership and diet underway.. #shoot
Had anti-valentines day with the roommate and bought $15 worth of European foreign chocolate
I GOT LIL' WAYNE AND NICKI TICKETS FOR APRIL 2ND!!
I would've got backstage passes but I didn't have $1000 to blow on a concert. But in the near future, expect me to be back there.. Yes, we'll probably be dating or married. Don't be jealous.
I can't really think of anything else.. but I'm sure more will come to mind, since clearly you are still reading this.
What else...
A lot of shit has hit the fan - especially when you leave for a week. People start talking and creating drama, oh joy. Excuse me, are we still in High School because it sure feels like it...
Haven't been able to cook since I haven't been home, but found this super cute market in downtown St. Louis (picture to be included at the bottom of this post).
I am back home for the first time since New Year's and it feels so good to be back!
What I was able to cook/other random photos I've taken on by handy-dandy BlackBerry for the past few weeks will be listed in chronological order... commencing now:
Yes, this one is the biggest since I am so excited to see Weezy in concert finally. I mean he is my husband, so it's fine.. And to the right is my grilled cheese and vegetable barley soup that I had when I had bronchitis last week/still kind of have it...
Made Coconut-Curry Chicken with my Godsister a four Sundays ago.. It was really good! And she thought so too...
Made Blueberry Pancakes with Turkey Bacon a few Saturday's ago.. I don't remember when exactly. It must have been, shoot I don't know. But it was good.
Apparently I have an Nick Cannon was at my conference in St. Louis. I was in heaven, to say the least.
BJ Novak from The Office was also in attendance.. Judson Laipley, or however the hell you spell his name was there. Yes, I told him that we modeled our Senior Year High School Homecoming after the Evolution of Dance. I wish I would've asked to do the dance with him when he performed it later that evening.. I would've been right on key!
Ross Matthews from Chelsea Lately was an emcee that evening - and he was cracking my shit up all night long! Too bad he's uber expensive or I'd bring him to MSU. The Food Dude was there, he was interesting. And a spokesperson for Frank's Hot Sauce - he did a Hot Sauce Drinking Competition. I almost vomited, watching that...
I got to hold a Spider Monkey! I did not want to give him up - he was so cute.. TWLOHA, Jamie! I absolutely love his non-profit and so glad that I was able to hear him talk. I need to negotiate to see if I can bring him through some kind of speaker series.. Gosh he can speak. And they're making a movie! Congrats TWLOHA!
Cupcake! It was $6.00 at this cute little market downtown in St. Louis.. TOM was present and I almost bought it until we saw 2-for-1 and got those instead. Our grocery store feast/dinner one evening before a Showcase. Emily and I split the cupcakes.. om nom nom.
Yes, this dude is balancing a 19' Ladder on his chin. He was a bit weird - to say the least. I got to meet The Fighter brothers! As he uppercuts my jaw..
These "twins" as I called them were down-right hilarious! Yes, we booked them for next year. They give hilarious dating advice. Downtown St. Louis
Lunch feast from grocery store, Part 2. Collins Touhy was our Keynote Speaker. God love her and what her family has done with the American Dream - why can't more people be so giving and benevolent?
Nappy Roots! They're so old.. But a good performance after watching endless hours of country/Christian bands showcase. Clearly I made spaghetti some time ago, and had this photo on my BlackBerry still.. Must've been leftovers from all that lying that was done a month or two ago now. Maybe not.
Colorful Spinach Salad from three weeks ago! More bronchitis soup and grilled cheese... Feels good on the throat, especially when you can't breath all that well.
This janky bar that we ate at the first night in St. Louis.. It was probably the jankiest thing I've ever set foot in. I wish I would've taken pictures inside.. There were stripper poles and a disco ball.. But it was a really good grilled cheese and fries, Emily and I deduced. Tosh.0 was supposed to be in attendance, but he couldn't make it so he made a homemade video for us all instead.. Still hilarious as always.
ARC! No, we didn't go.. But it would've been fun to.. If only we had more "free" time...I ordered a Shirley Temple. With extra cherries. Everywhere we went.
Tiddley Winks - an inside joke between Dom and I.. hahahahahahahahahahha
The plane ride back home from St. Louis to Detroit was so empty that upon sitting down I realized I could've sat 15 rows a head of me.. But I did have three seats to myself and was able to jam to some Lil' Wayne and read Cosmo. #Livinthebiglife
That pretty much sums up the past month of my life.. You got it all pictures and captions to a few venting words before. Yep. That's all folks.
& then I found five dollars...
Meg, I seriously love reading your blog so much. You have such a cute life and I find myself cracking up every time I read it. I hope we can end up getting together this week :)
